Story of a young washerwoman and a wounded man, at the end of the 18 Th century in the Island of Corsica.
“The main character of the story is a young washer-woman. I’m not sure why I chose her to be the center of the story, but I just had a picture in my head of a woman on the top of a cliff, in windy weather, looking at the forest. It became an obsession, and I believe that when you’re making a movie, you really need to have this kind of vision, a visual obsession, and follow it.”
