Go Social Film brings the short films at the Toronto International Film Festival into focus with unparalleled coverage of the Short Cuts Canada 2013 competition films and filmmakers. The multimedia film magazine introduces readers to the competition filmmakers through personal interviews, film clips, and connects filmmakers and film fans via social media, all within the pages of the magazine.
Eighteen of the Short Cuts Canada 2013 competition filmmakers share their behind-the-scenes stories about the creation of their films, as well as personal insights on film and the short film industry. Featured filmmakers include Oscar winner, Chris Landreth (“Ryan”, 2004) as well as Oscar nominated and Palm Springs International ShortFest winners Chris Lavis and Maciek Szczerbowski (“Madame Tutli-Putli”, 2007). This issue marks the first occasion that the magazine has dedicated an entire issue to a single film festival and country, the Short Cuts Canada competition and short films of Canada.
“With this issue, our goal is to bring a taste of TIFF to our readers around the world and also create a valuable resource for short film lovers attending the festival.” Jason Rogan, Artistic Director, Go Social Film Magazine.
Each month Go Social Film magazine shares with it’s readers a wide selection of international award winning films, enabling them to watch whole short films inside the magazine on their mobile devices.
“Go Social Film Magazine is one of the most innovative and immersive magazines going. It not only takes you into the world of cinema, but it gives you an experience unlike any other I’ve come across.” Jeremy Lalonde, director “Out”.
