Great looking old lady comes to a supermarket and does her shopping. She is taking her time, enjoying the process. But an old woman affording to stuff her shopping card to the top in Lithuania represents rather an exception than a stereotype of an old person. So, what is really going on?
“I call it a sketch rather than a film, but the intention was just to make a comment on society. When I lived in Prague,I noticed that old people have similar status in the Czech Republic as they do in Lithuania, and I thought maybe it doesn’t have anything to do with culture or geographical location, because at the end, people living in towns all face at some point the reality of finding themselves alone.”
