“In the beginning I found short film’s challenging to work with. I would come up with ideas that seemed somehow better suited to be features. I was encouraged by producers here to re-think these stories in order to make them into short films. As soon as I got into it, I really loved making shorts because they kind of force you to think in very simple terms. You’re forced to think about the essence and core of your story. After making three short films, I really like working in this way now. You only have so much time to tell your story, so you better be precise and in tune. In that way I like it a lot.”
